As much as things stay the same, things are constantly changing with Fletcher.

Today, he started camp at this new school because of the multitude of changes at this old school. Children thrive on consistency and that was one thing his old school had difficulty delivering. We are very thankful for those who nurtured and cared for Fletcher the past 18 months, but it was time for a change.

Fletcher is learning to ride his bike and he is taking swimming lessons where they are now focusing on strokes. It is amazing how quickly he learns.

I've been working really hard to get Fletcher to become more independent -- like going to the bathroom at night and in the morning in his room vs. visiting me bedside and having me take him; getting himself dressed and undressed; picking up after himself; buckling & unbuckling his seat belt, etc. The good news we are making great progress on each front.

It is nice to have a conversation with my son now.
